Whether you are giving birth in the hospital, in the comfort of your home, or in a birth center, you deserve a birth experience that leaves you feeling like you were informed enough to make the most empowered decisions for you and your family. We tend to come into birth feeling that the hardest work we have to do is the physical work of labor. While that is certainly a big part of the work ahead of you, I believe that our mental health and emotional needs are also important to take into account. As your doula, I believe in the power of addressing any anxieties, limiting beliefs, or mental/emotional discomforts you might be feeling as you think about bringing your sweet baby earth-side. With education as the foundation of my all my birth packages, and the wisdom I have acquired from my own battles with depression, anxiety and a nuero-spicy brain, I feel fully prepared to support you in any way you need to have an empowered birthing experience.

“We keep saying we would never have been able to follow our plan and be in as good of a spot as we are now without you Sarah. Adjusting and trying new positions at 5cm to relieve back pain was huge. I still don’t know why a doula isn’t required at every hospital birth!”
